Technology moves fast, can you keep up?
It’s amazing how fast things are progressing. We deal with more information in a day
than our parents dealt with in 6 months.
If the feeling of overwhelm grabs you now and then, there is an answer.
To many emails? To much information? What am I to do?
The answer is this: Systemize and Simplify.
Turn off the TV. Turn off the computer. Turn off the radio.
Go back to basics.
Look, I’m a Techno Geek at heart. The technology we purchase today is obsolete in a few months.
I purchased a phone last year and they have already come out with 2 versions that can do more.
It’s mind-boggling!
I believe the future belongs to those who can show others how to Systemize and Simplify!
Sometimes the easiest way to do things in right in front of us. We have a tendency to over complicate things.
If you’re in business, you should be asking a few questions.
- Do I know what my market needs?
- What problem do I solve?
- Is there anyone else that is already selling to this market?
- What makes me different from my competition?
- Why buy from me?
The follow up is: What’s the simplest, easiest way for me to fill the need and solve the issue?
Then get to work! Think, how can I simplify my task? How can I make it better?
There is a simple process to do this.
I use 5 simple questions to start this process.
They are, Who, What, When, Where and How.
Here is an example of how I use these questions.
- Who is responsible?
- What is the next step?
- When does it have to be completed?
- Where do we go to find that information?
- How does it happen?
This of course is just an example but I guarantee if you ask yourself these questions when trying to
Systemize and Simplify your business it will go a lot smoother.
What I usually find is that people get overwhelmed with everything going on and nothing gets accomplished.
Although change is evident for all of us, know that we are at the greatest place in human history.
Rapid advancement allows the little guy in business to gain a competitive advantage.
Look at the place you are in right now and make a decision to dream big!
Go back to basics. Grab a sheet of paper and write down what inspires you. What are your passions?
What problem can you solve in the marketplace now?
If you don’t feel you have a skill to do that, then find the thing
you’re passionate about and team up with someone doing it.
This gives you the opportunity to earn while you learn.
Success in the future will come to those who Systemize and Simplify.
Start by getting your life together…
Then look in the marketplace for those who need your help!
They’re out there… And there’s a whole world looking for
the answer: Systemize and Simplify and make the world a better place.
I’ll be talking about this more in the future.
Building a process and simplifying your life is easy if you know the steps.
Do you Systemize and Simplify?
Peace & Power,
Vic
